A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas sure came and went quickly for us! It was a whirlwind of family, food, and of course lots of fun with T's new toys! T woke up Xmas morning to a huge red bag from Santa and a special letter from him...T proceeded to rip open all of his gifts and enjoyed diving into the piles of paper, not paying too much attention to what was inside of them. Haven't quite decided how I feel about this yet...is it a sign that he is unappreciative of gifts or is he really just that content with wrapping paper and ribbon or does he have too many toys? I don't know maybe a bit of each. It is tough having a birthday a few weeks before xmas. Xmas Eve I was lucky enough to be sent home early from work and was able to enjoy a massive amount of potluck at Mom & Dad's house and visit with everyone! Then Xmas day was our little family time in the morning, then go to Mom & Dad's to exchange gifts there and have some delectable home-made almond bread-my fav! Then off to Tracy for Xmas with the Warren/Foster's and lots of playtime for the boys!! Friday I woke up at 5:45am to go to Kohls to exhange some shoes I bought for J, crazy I know but for some reason I was wide awake and decided why not. That evening Auntie Kate watched T, and J and I went to see Four Christmases - super cute and funny! Thanks again Kate, it was a much needed date night!! Then Saturday was Xmas in Tiburon with our Lee Family and it was wonderful to visit everyone and once again we enjoyed an amazing potluck. T was a very lucky boy and the family showered him with more gifts and treats! Sunday we went over to the Brady's house to exchange gifts and the kids played for a few hours....it is such an overwhelming and overstimulating time for children this time of year and the time that they have to just go back to their busy little selves is so needed. T had a blast over there as usual...Thanks Kim for the new bath towel it is the perfect size and he makes train sounds when he gets out of the tub! After that off to my grandmother's for home made pizza and gift exchange......pheewww! So 5 days later we are in xmas let down mode, trying to find places to put our new things, attempting to get organized as usual, and doing a few returns or exchanges a little each day. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday time with your family and friends as we did! ......now...what to do for New Years?!

Rare cuddling moment with J!
